A unique contemporary alcove open bookcase that is truly one of a kind. Crafted using reclaimed wood salvaged from Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan in Southern India, this bookcase features wood that is between 50 and 150 years old. Skilled craftsmen assemble the wood to create a colourful and interesting piece of furniture.
Each piece in the Urban Chic range is hand-finished using a unique blend of reclaimed timbers, making every item truly individual. A beautifully made steel outer frame adds an urban edge to the bookcase and provides excellent structural rigidity. The unit has four fixed shelves and an extra open shelf at the top, providing ample space to display your books and decorative items.
The wood is finished with a resilient satin lacquer that is hard-wearing and emphasises the beautiful colour and character in the timber. This finish also ensures that the bookcase is environmentally friendly, as much of the timber used is reclaimed. Exceptional build quality ensures that this bookcase is designed to last a lifetime.
If you decide to purchase this unique bookcase, please note that it requires minor assembly. This bookcase is part of the exciting and exclusive Urban Chic furniture range and will make a beautiful addition to any home or office.

Delivery was terrible, and the furniture had cracks in the wood.

I like the look of the Urban Chic range, but the finish could be a little better in some places
