This extra large sideboard is yet another striking piece of furniture from our Urban Chic collection. It is made from environmentally friendly reclaimed wood that is salvaged from various locations around Southern India, including Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan. Skilled craftsmen hand-finish and assemble the wood, (some of which can be 50-150 years old) to create this unique and colourful piece of furniture.
The Steel legs/outer frame provide immense strength and add that extra edge to the design. The sideboard has four drawers and a large cupboard with sliding doors, allowing for flexible display options. Solidly constructed, this item requires no assembly by you, and it is finished with a resilient satin lacquer that enhances its already beautiful colours and character.

Delivery was on time and very well protected, the furniture is solid wood for sure. It’s not as uniform as i imagined but maybe that’s my fault.

Really disappointed, the furniture came with lots of marks on the wood and apparently that’s the way reclaimed wood is! Back to Ikea next time I think.
