Here’s our Capri bed, in matt white with a subtle yet noticeable antique-waxed pine top rail on the headboard that sets it off beautifully. The headboard sits high enough that you can still see the bottom rail of the design with the mattress in place. Solidly made as you can see, this no-nonsense design is easy to assemble and strong enough to last for many years.
Using pine throughout, the side rails on this bed are 11 cm x 2 cm and the slats are 7 cm x 1.8 cm. Legs are 5.5 cm squared and there’s 2 extra, smaller ones on the centre rail. Main joints are doweled, glued and screwed. With 2 people, assembly time should be about 40-60 minutes, with just your own starhead screwdriver needed. Larger bolts are tightened using the supplied cranked Allen Key.
