A large chest of drawers from the Corona Grey bedroom range, arranged as 2 three drawers side-by-side. 6 drawers tall would be impractical, maybe even dangerous, so this way gives you lots of drawer storage at a sensible height. An excellent side effect is the massive top surface which you can’t ignore, it’s just begging to be used for something, anything. Too big for a hall table, this would be perfect in a dining room (even though it’s from the bedroom section) for storage and display purposes.
The drawers have dovetailed and glued front joints, and the pattern-cut top surface is antique waxed. There are faux bolt heads with real metal drop pull handles and as you can see, the bottom 2 drawers are larger than the others.
It should take 2 people about 1½ hours to build with only a couple of screwdrivers and a hammer. The bolt heads can be omitted if you wish as there’s no pilot holes to show. A wall strap is included.
132 cm wide, 43 cm deep, 83 cm high.
