The Boston premium range comes in a rich, dark old colonial style, complete with real metal handles. Here’s a large 6 drawer chest, in a low (ish) and wide layout. 6 drawers high would be too much, and too ugly, so this way works much better and is more cost effective too. It’s tempting to call it a Mr and Mrs item, 3 drawers each, but what’s the chances of that lasting very long.
Panels are made from framed plywood, and the drawers are solid pine with 20 mm thick screwed fronts. Plain plywood is used for the drawer bases and back panel. All visible parts are treated with a dark tinted lacquer, giving a deep shine which looks great and is easy to keep clean.
Allow roughly an hour for assembly, you’ll need a starhead screwdriver and a hammer.
