This is a beautiful and spacious monk’s bench that comes with a shoe cabinet. It is skillfully made from carefully chosen, premium-quality solid walnut wood. Walnut wood is renowned for its high density and beautiful grain, making it an ideal material for creating exceptional and distinctive furniture.
The bench has a comfortable seating height of 50 cm, and the arms are 69 cm high. The shoe cabinet is designed to accommodate up to 10 pairs of shoes.
In addition to being sustainable and obtained from well-managed plantations, our walnut wood is also environmentally friendly. The bench is crafted to the highest standards, ensuring its longevity and outstanding durability. It is finished with a resilient satin lacquer, providing it with an elegant and long-lasting shine.
NB: Please note, this is not a true monks bench, in that the top does not swivel to form a table as the original versions would. However, this design is now most commonly called a monks bench, so we have called it that too.
